    The kit comes with all of the parts listed and they appear to be high quality. Some are proprietary and some are interchangeable with other AR platforms. A couple of parts that I understand are proprietary that were modified when Colt went with the 16” bbl and mid length gas system from the 20” rifle length system like the actual bolt, firing pin, and extractor are not in this kit unfortunately. With Colt being bought by CZ I don’t have high hopes for future support from them.

    COLT 901 .308 PARTS KIT

    For several years I have been looking for Colt 901 parts.
    I wanted to put on a longer and different caliber barrel on my Colt 901. Colt gave me names that carry their parts. none had the .308 parts. I got a 20 inch bbl. and modified the barrel extension. With a gas block and tube and bbl nut I made I could change barrels in a few minutes. Colt did not mention ORDNANCE RESEARCH where I found the Colt 901 Parts Kit with the upper casting, bolt carrier and other parts. I am waiting on a AR10 Bolt and instead of changing barrels I can just change UPPERS.
